RPM · Service Detail

Cellular devices. Monitored readings. Alerts only when they matter.

We ship pre-configured cellular devices — no Wi-Fi, no apps, no setup — train your patients, monitor transmissions daily, chase adherence, and route threshold breaches through escalation paths your clinicians approve.

What It Is

Remote Patient Monitoring uses connected devices — blood pressure cuffs, glucometers, pulse oximeters, scales — to capture physiologic data outside the office and transmit it automatically. Medicare requires at least 16 days of readings in a 30-day period to bill the device-supply code, and at least one interactive communication with the patient during the monitoring month.

The clinical value is early warning: a blood pressure trending upward or a weight spike from fluid retention gets caught days before it becomes an ER visit. The operational challenge is that someone has to watch the data every single day, chase patients who stop transmitting, and keep documentation clean enough to survive an audit — which is the job Elixir does.

Common Questions

Remote Patient Monitoring, answered plainly

What happens when a reading crosses a threshold?+
Your clinicians define the escalation thresholds during onboarding. A breach routes immediately to the channel you choose — a call, a message in your EHR, or a flagged task — so the right person sees it fast, without flooding your inbox with every normal reading.
Do patients need a smartphone or Wi-Fi?+
No. The devices we deploy transmit over cellular networks directly, which removes the single biggest source of patient drop-off in RPM programs — failed app setup.
How do you protect the 16-day billing threshold?+
We track transmission compliance daily and proactively reach out to any patient falling behind, well before the 30-day window closes, so eligible patients don't quietly fall out of billable status.
